Mint Creek Farm is owned & operated by the Carr family who have grown the farm to 220 Certified-Organic acres. We have a wide diversity of livestock including sheep, cattle, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks + turkeys.

Farmhand
We have full and part-time roles available on our Certified Organic, grassfed livestock and poultry farm. You will get experience working with each animal group- cattle, pigs, poultry, sheep, goats. An ideal candidate is passionate, knowledgeable and committed to regenerative farming/ranching, and must be capable of working independently and multitasking. This position is onsite at the farm located in rural Illinois, about 85 miles south of Chicago.
Farmers Market Staff
Apply below if you’d like to learn more about organic-grassfed, regenerative meat and sell farm’s products at the 2025 Outdoor Market season. Consistent availability May- Nov on Saturdays and/or Sundays and having your own vehicle to haul goods to market is a plus. Markets our farm attends are in the Woodlawn, Lincoln Park, as well as Logan Square neighborhoods of Chicago, IL as well as in Downtown Evanston, IL and access to one or more of these areas is necessary.
Market Chef
We are seeking applicants with an interest in food prep, expediting, and grill cooking grassfed meats from our organic farm paired with fresh, sustainable produce and bread outside for the 2025 Outdoor Market season which runs between April - Nov on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Our prepared food markets are in the Logan Square and Lincoln Park neighborhoods of Chicago, IL and access to these areas is necessary.
