ORDER FULFILLMENT POLICIES

At Mint Creek, we take customer service very seriously. We are in this business to holistically provide for our community in a way that is mutually beneficial to human, animal, & environmental health. We will not be satisfied until you are satisfied. These policies are a minimum that we strive to go above and beyond. 

  • Refund policy  — We send refunds when our customers request refunds, including but not limited to if you receive an order that is incomplete, received in a damaged condition, or within a delayed timeline that no longer fulfills your needs. 

  • Delivery policy — We offer direct delivery in Chicago, Oak Park, & Evanston every Wednesday. Our staff will confirm, pack, and deliver your order to the address provided using farm delivery vehicles. Generally, all orders placed before 5pm on the Monday prior to the Wednesday delivery day are fulfilled that Wednesday. However, as our website notes, bulk meat orders such as quarter cows, special, custom-cut, or out of stock items, as well as CSA shares often have a longer turnaround time, generally up to 3-6 weeks. If orders are placed outside our direct delivery zones for UPS or FedEx shipping, this also adds additional processing time and shipping costs, to be quoted upon request. 

  • Return policy – Returns are rare as we sell high-quality meat, eggs, and other food items. However, we do appreciate and may request that customers receiving a refund or replacement share pictures or present rejected products so we can understand the issue and improve our systems to avoid the issue in the future. 

  • Cancellation policy — We pride ourselves in a flexible cancellation policy. We understand that our customers’ circumstances can change such that cancellation may be necessary at any point. We offer a supportive cancellation process when these situations arise, offering a refund for any items not yet received at the time of cancellation.
