CHICKEN
Our chickens are always able to access extensive outdoor pasture paddocks to forage plants outside. During the winter they have a large barn they can also access to escape the cold. In the summer they have a number of portable houses. Since domesticated poultry cannot live on pasture forages alone, our poultry are also fed certified organic grains and organic beans (such as wheat, black beans, soybeans, corn, flax, oats, triticale, barley, depending on season & availability). We carefully source our grains from certified organic farmers in our region and mix the feed in small-batches directly on the farm.
Orders must be placed by 12pm on Tues to be home delivered on Wednesday or for farmers’ market pickup that upcoming weekend. Larger or bulk bundle orders may require extra time to fulfill.
Local delivery in Chicago, Oak Park, and Evanston costs $9/per delivery with no delivery minimum. UPS shipping outside that local, Chicago area delivery radius starts at $25/per delivery.
