Baked Balsamic Pork Spare Ribs
Ingredients
1 package of pork spare ribs
Marinade:
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tbsp maple syrup, honey or agave
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
4 cloves garlic
A few Tbsp of dried herbs like fennel seed, rosemary, white pepper, coriander and cayenne
Mix all marinade ingredients together in large cooking dish. Add thawed meat and marinate for at least 20 minutes up to 2 hours.
Once finished, preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place the cooking dish with marinaded meat in oven to bake for about 3-4 hours uncovered.
Baste marinade and juices back onto meat at least twice and up to five times during baking, adding a quarter to a half cup water as needed.
Salt to taste and toss ribs in marinade before serving. Serve with roasted or mashed potatoes.
