We are offering heritage Black Spanish Aztec and Broad Breasted Bronze or White turkeys for pre-order this fall season! The birds are all pasture-raised on our organic farm here in Illinois. Most of our customers pick up the birds at locations listed below. There is also a limited number of home delivery and UPS shipping slots available so add a note in form here if you would like that.
Black Spanish Aztec= Heritage breed, balanced carcass, buttery flavor with ample dark meat. Lighter in flavor than the bronze breed.
Bronze, Broad Breasted= Cross-breed, rich and flavorful with a slightly reddish meat & hearty leg quarters that provide exceptional dark meat.
White, Broad Breasted= The mildest domesticated breed, know for their ample breasts and white meat. *Only available in medium and large size ranges.
Pricing: $9.75/LB
*XL large birds cost $1/lb less at $8.75/lb. *XS small birds cost $1/lb more at $10.75/lb.
All other small - large whole bird sizes cost $9.75/lb.
Sizing: “XS” = 6-8lbs “S” = 9-13lbs “M” = 13-17lbs “L” = 17-21+lbs "XL" = 22-26lbs
Deposit: To reserve, pay a $25 deposit per bird below using this form. Your deposit is subtracted from total when you get your bird(s).

PORTIONING AND SHELF LIFE:
A good rule of thumb is a pound of turkey per person for an ample serving or two pounds per person if you want a lot of leftovers. They will stay good in your fridge for 7 days. Keep in mind that frozen turkeys take multiple days to thaw in a refrigerator, or up to a whole day or two to thaw in a water bath.
