Monthly CSA - Delivery (Chicago, Evanston & Oak Park)

Our meat CSA is available year-round, and is fully composed from animals raised on our farm. Meat cuts will vary based on what is seasonal and surplus at the farm. We work really hard so that our CSA includes a range of cuts; from premium cuts (like chops, loins, and steaks) to more humble, braising, or ground cuts (like osso buco or stew meats). Occasional offerings of rustic sausages and organically smoked & cured bacon will also be included, all free of nitrates and featuring certified-organic spices.
Our laying hens are free to roam the pastures, eating bugs and grass, as well as a diverse mix of organic grains & legumes. We use regenerative, rotational-grazing practices on our organically-certified, Illinois farm.

Half share - 5lbs per month: $71
Whole share - 10lbs per month: $133

Note that frozen meat included in 5 or 10 pound meat shares varies month-to-month based on what is seasonal and bountiful at our farm. We carefully select the contents of each month's share to offer you a variety between braising cuts, searing/frying/broiling cuts, and ground meats. Below are a few examples of monthly whole shares. Half shares are similar selections but half the poundage.
MONTH 1 WHOLE SHARE: 1# ground turkey, 2# stewing chicken, 1# lamb rack chops, 3# beef chuck roast, 1#ground beef, 1# pork spare ribs, 1# pork mini-belly
